It's the start of a new hockey season tryout time. Let the sleepless nights begin. Oh. I don't sleep already. Okay, let the sleepless nights with a beer or two thrown-in begin. :)

First Railcat Peewee N photo
Lucky for us we have a hockey Dad who has an awesome camera and takes great action shots of the kids. Here is the first of many photos (sorry)(K not really I will be shamelessly posting photos of N throughout the hky season) of N I will probably post. He just scored the only goal at our last game.

Halloween candy question
As a kid (or now if you still go out for Halloween :) ) did/do you separate your candy into categories?
My first favourite was those hard molasses-type candies. Yum.
My second favourite is anything salty, especially salty things that taste good after eating a whole bunch of molasses candy.
My least favorite (which really isn't a favorite at all) are raisins. They go in the "give these to the dog or parents or siblings" pile.
What kind of categories do YOU chose?

It is all about me
Where is Ikea when I need them. I am renovating my house and I so need stuff from Ikea. Yikes. Apparently our Wpg store isn't opening until sometime late 2011 and early 2013. Could they be anymore vague...

Happy Hockey Thanksgiving
It is Thanksgiving and guess where we are today. Yup. In a hockey rink. The Bolts are on the ice taking-on their 3on3 rivals. Hope to kick some butt.
The kids have a short break and then it is a Dads vs Kids game. Simone and I are refs. I see some penalty shots in our kids future... :)

Eeewww
Came home from Nik's hockey game (his team won) only to find out that someone (Eddy??) threw-up 1/2 of Transcona in my living room. To boot it is now cloudy outside and those sugarary sugar pops didn't sit too well in my hockey-tryout nervous stomach. :{
